Purchases 9/28/2011

This week was DC Comics last week for The New 52 #1’s. I didn’t buy all The New 52 and wish I could of but due to budget restraint (There was other shit I wanted lol) I just got the ones I really wanted. Ok now onto this weeks blog post. This week I picked up Justice League Dark #1, Superman #1, Batman: The Dark Knight #1, Aquaman #1, The Flash #1, Green Lantern: New Guardians #1, Justice League #1 3rd Printing, The Savage Hawkman #1, Teen Titans #1, Brilliant #1, Kick-Ass 2 #3,4, Doctor Who Ongoing #9 Photo Cover, Rachel Rising #2, Steampunk: Fairy Tales #1, The Unforgiving #1, Tarot Witch of the Black Rose #70 Both Covers. ALso picked up the Harcover Graphic Novel Castle: Richard Castle’s Deadly Storm and Doctor Who Magazine #438. Also got a new Digital Camera, I decided to go with the Kodak Easy Share Sport C123. Weekend Purchases 9/25/2011

This afternoon I went to Books-A-Million and picked up 2 Magazines and a Manga. The Magazines I got were Tomart’s Action Figure Digest #198-199 and TV Guides Comic-Con Special 2011 Big Bang Theory Cover. The Manga I got was Library Wars Vol.6, not much but I will enjoy reading these. Feel free to leave comments. Later!!

Weekly Purchases Part 2: 9/23/2011

Friday around lunch I went to Books-A-Million and picked up 2 books which were Quentin Tarantino’s “Death Proof” A  Screenplay which was 2.00 and Khai of Khem by: Brian Lumley which was also 2.00. I also picked up a magazine called GameFan Magazine #6 and Shonen Jump Vol.9 Issue 9. After work I went back to the Comic Shop (Clint’s Comics) and picked up some of the magazines, figures and other comics I had on hold. The Magazines I picked up were Doctor Who Insider #’s 4,5,6, Doctor Who Magazine #’s 436 & 437 (I kinda got them out of order and the Silver Cover is 436 and the other is 437), DC Comics Super Hero Collection Blackest Night/Brightest Day Special Nekron Edition, DC Comics Super Hero Collection Blackest Night/Brightest Day #9 – Ganthet & 10 – Bleez. Weekly Purchases Part 1: 9/20–9/22/2011

This week I was going to wait to a do a full post on Friday, but decided to break it up and do 2. Tuesday I went to the Comic Shop (Clint’s Comics Located in Monroe Louisiana) and picked up some back-issues. I picked up Just Imagine Stan Lee Creating Green Lantern, Just Imagine Stan Lee Creating Batman, Just Imagine Stan Lee Creating Catwoman, Just Imagine Stan Lee Creating JLA, Just Imagine Stan Lee Creating Aquaman, Just Imagine Stan Lee Creating The Flash. I am still missing a couple of those but got the majority of what I needed, Thanks Clint!!! I also got Batman: Mask of the Phantasm Movie Adaption, Supergirl: Wings, Green Lantern: 1001 Emerald Nights, Green Lantern: Evil’s Might #3, JLA/Witchblade, Batman: Ego (Which I picked up Wednesday) and The Amazing Spider-Man #’s 365,374 and 375 which I really needed. Some great back-issues from my Wish List. Wednesday I picked up some of the New 52 from DC Comics, I picked up Batman #1, Wonder Woman #1, Green Lantern Corps #1, Bird’s of Prey #1, Catwoman #1, Legion of Super-Heroes #1, Nightwing #1, Red Hood And The Outlaws #1, Supergirl #1, Blue Beetle #1 and Darkwing Duck #16 Covers A & B. New Blu-ray & Comic Purchases 9/13–9/14-9/16/2011

This week I went out on Tuesday and picked up Thor on Blu-ray which I plan on watching after this post. On Wednesday &  Friday I picked up Flashpoint #4, Action Comics #1 Jim Lee Variant which I ordered through Midtown Comics, Green Lantern 31, Red Lanterns #1, Batman And Robin #1, Batwoman #1, Death Stroke #1, Legion Lost #1, Mister Terrific #1, Suicide Squad #1, Resurrection Man #1, Superboy #1, Grifter #1, All-New Batman The Brave And The Bold #10,11 and Zombies Vs Cheerleaders #1 which I got through Midtown Comics also.I also got in the Bag of Holding Messenger Bag from Think Geek, the bag is alright and I need to break it in but I prefer my backpack and will use the bag of holding for cons and stuff. The only 2 books I didn’t enjoy were Grifter and Resurrection Man which I will not be picking up anymore but I did enjoy Mister Terrific which I didn’t have high hopes on. Blu-ray and DVD Purchases 9/10/2011

Welcome one and all to another blog post. Today I went out to Best Buy and bought Dante’s Inferno on Blu-ray for 7.99 also picked up The Ice Cube Collection which contained Friday, Next Friday. Friday After Next and All About the Benjamins for 9.99 and Jeepers Creepers and Jeepers Creepers 2 in a 2 pack for 4.99. Not a bad deal on these and Best Buy had a bin full 7.99 Blu-rays I wanna go back and get more out of but gotta wait till next pay day. Feel free to leave comments. Later!!!

Comics & Game Purchases 9/6 - 9/7/2011

Hello all and once welcome. This week was another great week for me, I got a lot of cool Comics and 2 Games. The Comics I got were Action Comics #1 (2 copies), Batgirl #1 (2 copies), Detective Comics #1, Justice League International #1, Green Arrow 31, Hawk & Dove #1, Swamp Thing #1, and Scooby Doo #12 & 13. Tuesday afternoon I picked up The Amazing Spider-Man Marvel Masterworks Vol.2 for 5.00. Also today (Wednesday) I got the Doctor Who Top Trumps Cards and the Doctor Who Monopoly. Kind of disappointed that the Monopoly didn’t have Doctor Who related pieces in it =(. Also didn’t get the Action Comics Jim Lee variant, but they were sort of damaged. I did get one through Midtown Comics. A lot of great reads today and I look forward to reading them. Now I am off to get ready for the Series Finale of Rescue Me. Feel free to leave comments. Book Purchases 9/4/2011

Sunday I went out to the bookstore to see if they had some new or cheap books. After looking for an hour I ended up getting The Rescuers by: Margery Sharp for 2.95, I have been wanting to read this for along time. I also got Tales of the Otori - Across the Nightingale Floor Episode 2: Journey to Inyama by: Liam Hearn,Tales of the Otori – Brilliance of the Moon Episode 1: Battle For Maruyama by: Liam Hearne and Tales of the Otori – Grass for his Pillow Episode 2: The Way through the Snow by: Liam Hearn all for 1.00 each. I have these in Hardcover but I like the look of the Softcover’s. Gonna find the rest one day. That’s all for now feel free to leave comments. Later!!
