PSP Game Purchases 10/30/09

Just bought Unbound Saga and Super Stardust Portable at the PSN Store for 4.99 each. I have been wanting Super Star Dust for awhile and i heard that Unbound saga was cool. So go check them out on the PSN.

New Purchases 10/28/09

Ah!! The Last week of October and 2 Days till Halloween and also New Comic Books!!!!! Great releases for the week especially some cool books to read on Halloween. Halloween Comics are always the best. Well this week i stopped in at the comic shop and got new and back issue books and at the game shop i got some used games, so here what i picked up. Also picked up the new Doctor Who Magazine #412, Archie Double Digest #203 and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Manga Vol.4. Now over at the Game Shop (Game Stop , i just like saying Game Shop) i picked up a used copy of the 1st Luminous Arc game for the DS for 16.99, used copy of Yu Yu Hakusho Tournament Tactics for the GBA for 2.99, used copy of Obscure for XBOX for 14.99 and a used copy of Obscure: The Aftermath for the Wii. Alright some good reads and games to keep me busy Halloween Night since i have nothing to do. Well see ya next week. Comments are Welcomed.

Alright, this weeks Manga Reads are going to be The Kindaichi Cases Files Vol.4,5,6,7,8, Berserk Vol.1,2,3,4,5 and Scryed Vol.1,2,3 & 3. Decided to go with a small week of reading since i still have a couple from last week i have not read yet.

Went out this afternoon to the comic,book and game shop and picked up some more goodies. At the comic shop i picked up Batman: The Unseen #2, DC Universe Halloween Special '09, Justice League of America 80-Page Giant #1, Outsiders #23, Invincible #67, Spawn 3195, Don Bluth Presents Space Ace 31, Farscape: Gone and Back #4, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic #46, Donatello: The Brain Thief #2, Tales of the T.M.N.T. #63, Grimm Fairy Tales #42, The Stuff of Legend #2, Doctor Who Magazine #412 and Buffy The Vampire Slayer Omnibus Vol.'s 1,2 & . Over at the book shop i got Archie Double Digest # 202, Shonen Jump November 2009 Vol.7 #11 and Otaku USA December 2009 At Target i picked up Nintendo Power December 2009. And at Game Stop i picked up a Used copy of The Shield game for the PS2. Well that's all for this week.

Comic Purchases 10/21//09

Went out and picked up some comics today. Didn't buy much but i will be going back friday and getting more. Today i got The Amazing Spider-Man #609, Archie #602, Beasts of Burden #2, Blackest Night: Superman #2, Escape from Wonderland #2, Justice League of America #38 and The Last Resort #3. Nation X #2 Cover

I havn't been reading much X-Men Comics in the recent years, but i have always been a fan of Jubilation Lee aka Jubilee and she is gonna be on the cover of Issue 2 of the Nation X Mini-Series with another fan favorite of mine Gambit. The Cover is drawn by artist Dustin Weaver. Nation X is looking to be a cool Mini-Series.

DC Comics Solicitations for January 2010

Thanks to CBR Comic Book Resources, i got to see the Promo Art/ Hopefully Cover to Green Lantern #50 which is fracking awesome. There is also a 1:25 Jim Lee Variant, i would love to get my paws on. Here is the link to the January 2010 DC Comic Solicitations http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=23366 .  Also in January is a Blackest Night Skip Month which means no Blackest Night Mini-Series Issue, but they are doing a pretty cool thing and putting out 1 issue revival of classic DC Universe Titles. The Books are The Atom & Hawkman #46, Catwoman #83, The Phantom Stranger #42, The Power of Shazam #48, The Question #37, Starman #81, Weird Western Tales #71 and Suicide Squad #67. I will be picking up all those in January. The new Diamond Previews will be released next Wednesday 10/28/09 for Comics to be released in January 2010, so you can tell your LCS order them.

Shoujo Byou Dōjin Music CD Listed with Animated DVD

Group's major label debut, Sōhaku Shisuferia, to ship in December

The Neowing retail website lists a bundled DVD for the Sōhaku Shisuferia CD single release from the Shoujo Byou (Girl Disease) dōjin musical group. This December 23 release from Bandai's Lantis label is the major label debut for Shoujo Byou, which has mostly self-published its symphonic rock-influenced music until now. According to Neowing, the Sōhaku Shisuferia DVD will feature "artistic" music video work with some animation footage. No other distributor currently lists a CD/DVD bundle for the upcoming single. The release will include narration from Miyuki Sawashiro, Aki Toyosaki, Tetsuya Kakihara, and Kana Hanazawa, as well as a collection of production materials for the video footage.

Seikon no Qwaser Mature TV Anime's Promo

January debut from My-Hime's writer, manga artist with CANAAN singer Faylan

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Hiroyuki Yoshino and Kenetsu Satou's Seikon no Qwaser manga has launched on Monday with a 69-second promotional video in 1M or 2M bandwidth. The mature supernatural action story follows the students of the privately-run St. Mikhailov Academy — in particular, a boy named Aleksander who is a qwaser, or a manipulator of the element of iron. The story is known for its heavy emphasis on fan service, especially with breast milk as a plot device. Yoshino was the anime series script supervisor on Denpa teki na Kanojo, Macross Frontier, and the My-HiME and My-Otome projects. Satou drew the manga adaptations of My-HiME and My-Otome.

The anime will premiere this January with an opening theme song sung by Faylan (CANAAN's "mind as judgement"). Also on Monday, the November issue of Akita Shoten's Champion RED magazine has bundled a "Champion RED Premium DVD" with the uncensored special promotional video for Seikon no Qwaser. Tokyopop announced at New York Anime Festival last month that it has licensed the original manga for North America.

Manga Reads for the Week of 10/19/09

Alright, this week i have once again rummaged through my backlog of manga that i have not read so i can finally catch up. This week i will reading Dojin Work Vol.2, Akihabara@Deep Vol.1,2,3 & 4, Miyuki-Chan in Wonderland, Heat Guy J, .hack//G.U. Vol.3,4 & 5, .hack//xxxx Vol.2, Voices of a Distant Star, Moe U.S.A. Vol.1 & 2, Daphne in the Brilliant Blue, Ohikkoshi, Gundam 00 Vol.1 and G.A.: Geijutsuka Art Design Class Vol.1. I already finished Dojin Work and will be ordering more of those by the end of the week from RightStuf.com . Anyone have any other suggestions for manga i should buy? If so just leave a comment.

Picked up Batman #691, Blackest Night: Batman #3, Detective Comics Annual #11, Doctor Who Ongoing #4, Farscape: D'Argo's Trial #3, Galactica: 1980 #2, GeNext: United #5, Green Lantern Corps #41, Rod Espinosa's The Legend of Sleepy Hollow #1, Star Wars: Invasion #0 and Web of Spider-Man #1. Some more great comics for my collection.

Got some comics i ordered in the mail today. They were Models, Inc #1 & 2, i am waiting for issue 3 to come out which i hope i can get the Zombie Variant.

Manga Reads for the Week

I have been reading alot of Manga the last couple of weeks, mainly from my huge backlog. So i decided to list the Manga i will be reading. This week i will be reading some really great series. I will beging with Rahxephon Vol.1-3, Saikano Vol.1-7 and will end it with the 1st 3 volumes of Kindaichi Case Files. I also recommend Black Jack, just read the 1st 3 volumes of that i got from the local library and they were fantastic. Also to note for those who are fans of the Manga & Anime Monster it will be airing on SyFy Monday Night so check you Local Listings.

Went out today and picked up some Comics. Movies and Books today. The comics i got today were Batman and Robin #5, Batman Annual #27, Free Realms #2, Batman: Unseen #1, The Amazing Spider-Man #608 70th Anniversary Cover (I got this one because it was the same price as the Regular Cover), Spider-Man: Clone Saga #1, Spider-Woman #1 (Both Alex Ross and Alex Maleev Covers), Haunt #1, Savage Dragon #153, Witchblade #131, Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Season Eight #29, Star Wars: Invasion #4, Ninja High School #174, Gold Digger: Tiffany & Charlotte - 2nd Semester #3, Doctor Who Classics Series 2 #11, Incarnate #2, Buckaroo Banzai: Hardest of the Hard #1B and Buffy The Vampire Slayer Omnibus Volume 1. Also picked up Yen Plus Magazine Vol.2 #11 November 2009. The Book i got is a Novel called Peter & Max A Fables Novel By: Bill Willingham with Illustrations by Steve Leialoha, which is set in the Fables Comic Book Universe. The Movies i got were Trick r Treat and Texas Chainsaw 2 Disc Ultimate Edition Steelbook Case Edition which was in the $5.00 bargain bin at Walmart.

Sorry for the late post on this, i got real busy earlier. Picked up some cool new manga and comics today. On the Manga Side i picked up .hack//xxxx Vol.2. AppleGeeks Vol.2 and Yen Plus Magazine Vol.2 #10 October 2009. On the Comic Book Side i got The Amazing Spider-Man #607 (Picked up 2 Copies), Runaways Vol.2 #14 (Last Issue Apparently), Green Lantern #46 Blackest Night Tie-In, Blackest Night: Titans #2, Tarot Witch of the Black Rose #58 (Both Covers), Bad Kids Go To Hell #4, Richard Moore's The Pound #1, Hack/Slash #26, The Unknown: The Devil Made Flesh #1A, Cyberforce/Hunter Killer #2B, Star Wars: Legacy #40, Sky Pirates of Neo Terra #1. Also picked up some more back issues this week. They were Detective Comics Annual #3, Warlord Annual #3,Green Lantern #'s 149,151,172,181,187,188,189,190,193,197,198,199, Green Lantern Corps #'s 201,203,213,214,215.
