Recent Purchases 12/30/09

Alright this is the last post on recent purchases of 2009. I went to the comic shop before the bookstore and picked up Flash Annual #10 and Japanese Novel by Hideyuki Kikuchi which contains a wind named amnesia and invader summer. Went to the bookstore and like always they seem to let me down by not having anything, so i decided to head over to Gamestop and i picked up some used games. I got Breath of Fire 1 & 2 for GBA, Metal Saga for PS2 and Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter for PS2. I never played the Breath of Fire games but have heard good things about them. After that i went to Target and found Sonic Unleashed for 9.99. Some pretty good deals today. Maybe i will great deals all next year. Feel free to leave comments. Later!!!

Blu-Ray & DVD Purchases 12/28/09

Hello everyone, i hope you had a safe and happy Christmas!!! Alright today i went out to Best Buy and bought The Last Samurai on Blu-Ray for 9.99, this is a really good movie and probably the only other Tom Cruise movie i like next to Legend and Minority Report. I also finally got The Sky Crawalers on Blu-Ray for 19.99, i have never seen this before and i kick myself for not getting any sooner since i love Oshi's work. I was gonna buy season 1 of True Blood on Blu-Ray but they didn't have it so i just went to Target and picked up Season 1 of True Blood on DVD of 17.99, i really enjoy the t.v. series and will eventually read the books. I think the reason i like this show is because it's set in louisiana and Anna Paquin is nude!!!! Sorry my perverted side kicked in lol. Well see you all again soon, since i will probably not be posting anything else till after the New Year. Comics don't come out this week but i might go to the bookstore Wednesday and pick up a couple of Manga just so i can post something. Later!!!! feel free to leave comments.

Comic Purchases 12/23/09

Well this is the last week that comics ship, except for Blackest Night #6 next week but my LCS might not get it. Well this week i got some great reads for christmas day. Today i purchased Green Lantern #49, Teen Titans #78, Blackest Night: JSA #1, X-Men Legacy #231, New Mutants #8, Spider-Woman #4, What If? Astonishing X-Men, What If? Spider-Man: House of M, The Amazing Spider-Man #616, Archie #604, S[ace Ace #4, Star Wars: Legacy #43, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic #48, Beasts of Burden #4, The Last Days of American Crime #1A, Comic AG #109 and all 6 covers of Image United #2. Oustide of buying the 6 covers to Image United it was a light week. Well see you all next week since i did leave 1 comic in my box so i can just go to to the comic shop next week. Blu-Ray's & New Phone

Sunday i got a new cell phone, it's a LG Neon Go Phone. I hate paying a monthly bill so i went with it. Today i went and bought some new Blu-Rays for Christmas, i got the Family Guy: Something, Something Dark Side Special Edition that came with the Lunch Box and Chicken Boba Fett Shirt. The Lunch Box is made by Thermos who made the old Star Wars Lunch Box's back in the 80's. I also picked up Ghost in the Shell 2.0 and District 9 too. I can't wait to watch District 9. Well tomorrow is the last week comics ship year, besides Blackest Night #6 but it doesn't officially go on sale till Dec.30th, they will start back shipping in january and i hope some good stuff comes out tomorrow. Got some really cool comics on Wednesday, i ended up getting Green Lantern Corps #43, Outsiders #25, Justice League of America #40, Superman/Batman #67, Batman #694, Batman 80-Page Giant #1, The Amazing Spider-Man #615, Spider-Man: Clone Saga #4, Necrosha: The Gathering One-Shot, X-Force #22, The Unknowns #1, Sherlock Ninja #1, The Unknown: Devil Made Flesh #3, Farscape Ongoing #2, The Complete Alice in Wonderland #1, Doctor Who Ongoing #6, The Last Resort #5, Domino Lady #3, Tales of the T.M.N.T. #65, Street Fighter II Turbo #10, Escape from Wonderland #3, Grimm Fairy Tales 2009 Holiday Edition #1, Yen Plus Magazine Vol.3 #1 Jan 2010 and Muv-Luv Alternative Meiya Figma AF UN Troop Version. Today when i went back to get more comics i got What If? Daredevil VS. Elektra #1, Forgetless #1, Catwoman Plus #1, Brave and the Bold #146, The House of Mystery #'s 290,308, 309 & 310 and Doctor Who Magazine #415. Got my order of Manga in from Amazon today. I got Ichiroh! Vol.1, Lucky Star Vol.3 and .hack//Alcor. This seems to be a very short post, but i look forward to reading these later.

New Comics,Manga,Books,DVD & Magazine Purchases 12/09/09

Hello Everyone!! Had a great week this week, picked up some new comics,manga,books, and magazines. Starting with comics, i got Adventure Comics #5, Booster Gold #27, Doom Patrol #5, R.E.B.E.L.S. #11, DC Universe Holiday Special '09, Amazing Spider-Man #614, Web of Spider-Man #3, Anywhere #1, Gold Digger X-Mas Special #3, Ninja High School #175, Gold Digger: Tiffany & Charlotte - Second Semester #4, Farscape: D'Argo's Quest #1A, Star Wars: The Clone Wars #11, G.I. Joe vs Cobra #2, Transformers Timelines #4, Transformers Ongoing #2A, Donatello: The Brain Thief #4 & Incarnate #3. I had alot of comic series end this week. Ok now for Manga, i finally picked up 20th Century Boys Vol.1,2 & 3, and One Piece East Blue 1-2-3. East Blue contains volumes 1-3 for 14.99. Now for Books i got A Killing in Comics By - Max Allan Collins and Terry Beatty out of the bin for 1.00. And on the magazine front i got Otaku U.S.A. February 2010, Newtype Japan Oct 2009, Megami Magazine Oct 2009 and Hobby Japan November 2009. I also got in Castle of Cagliostro i picked up from RightStuf's Black Friday sale.  Had a good week if i say so myself, can't wait to read the new Blackest Night comics and if you haven't read any Blackest Night check it out. Went back to the book shop and comic shop today, especially the comic shop to take advantage of the back issue sale. At the book shop i got Ichiroh! Vol.2, when i got home i found out that i didn't have Vol.1 so i ordered it. At the Comic Shop i got Fist of the North Star Master Edition Vol.5, Classic Illustrated #3 - Through The Looking Glass, The Official Handbook Of The Marvel Universe #'s3 & 32, Jenna #'s 1 & 2, Valhalla #1, Gold Digger Vol.2 #35, Swamp Thing Annual #'s 3,4,5 & 6, Monster Frat House One-Shot, CyberpunX #1 - (Platt Cover), Last Blood #'s 1 & 2 and Bushido #'s 1,2 & 3. Got all these books for $1.00 except Fist of the Northstar it was $3.00. Feel free to leave comments.

 Went out to the book shop and comic shop today and got some real cool goodies. At the book shop i got some new manga, i picked up Lucky Star Vol.1 & 2, G.A.: Geijutsuka Art Design Class Vol.2, Akihabara@Deep Vol.5, the new Girls of Gaming and book that was still on the dollar rack called Play Money By: Julian Dibbell. My comic shop is having a back issue sale now till christmas so i got some back issues also with new comics. I got the new Shonen Jump Vol.8 Issue 1 January 2010, Strange #2, Blackest Night: The Flash #1, Blackest Night: Wonder Woman #1, Blackest Night: Superman #1 2nd Printing (Back Issue), Batman: Unseen #5, Free Realms #'s 3 & 4, Haunt #3, Savage Dragon #155, Savage Dragon VS Savage Megaton Man #1 - Gold Cover - (Back Issue), A Very Zombie Christmas #1, Ninja High School #53 (Back Issue), Ninja High School Featuring Speed Racer #1 (Back Issue), Young Blood: Genesis #'s 1 & 2 (Back Issues), Captain Blood #2, Empowered One-Shot, Hack/Slash #28 Both Covers, Doctor Who Classics Series 2 #13 and Donatello: The Brain Thief #3.
