New Purchases 8/26/2010

Thursday afternoon i went out to Walmart and picked up 2 books, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and The Girl Who Played With Fire By: Stieg Larsson. I heard these books were really good and i plan on watching the movie through Netflix Streaming tonight. Also why i was there i stumbled onto a Justice League of America Notebook, Pencil Case, Folder and a Detective Comics Folder. They never had cool stuff like this when i was in school. New Purchases 8/25/2010

Hello All, had a really good day today. First i went out to Books-A-Million and actually found some Manga i was looking for. I picked up Higurashi: When They Cry Vol.5,6,7,8, This Ugly Yet Beautiful World Vol.1 and The Qwaser of Stigmata Vol.1. After that i went and bought some new comics and back-issues and even got a figure in today. On the new comics front i got Batman #702, Wonder Woman #602, Legion of Super-Heroes #4 (Reg and Variant). The Variant is done by Jim Lee and it features Mon-El on the cover. Action Comics #892, Superman/Batman #75, Green Arrow #3, Justice League of America #48, Justice League: Generation Lost #8, Detective Comics #868, Gotham City Sirens #15, Batman Confidential #47 and Teen Titans #86. Also picked up Spider-Girl: The End #1, All-New Wolverine Saga which was Free, Savage Dragon #163, Betty and Veronica #249, Gold Digger: Books of Magic #1 and The Oz/Wonderland Chronicles Set which contained #'s0-3.

On the back-issue front i picked up Brave and the Bold (Vol.1) #'s 141,143, DC Comics Presents #'s 3,9, Green Lantern (Vol.1) #161 and Superman Family #'s 189, 194,195,196,197,198. Also got the American Splendor DVD i ordered from Amazon in, the new Previews Guide to Comics and Blackest Night Nekron Figure.

R.I.P. Satoshi Kon

I am saddened to hear that Influential Anime Filmmaker Satoshi Kon has passed away. He brought us some great films like Perfect Blue, Milleninum Actress, Tokyo Godfathers, Paprika and the T.V. series Paranoia Agent. His work will live on forever on film and he will be missed by all his fans. Please check out his excellent work. You will be missed.

Blu-ray Purchase 8/22/2010

Hello All!! Just a quick blog post, this afternoon i discovered i had a shit load of reward zone certificates from best buy and since i had to go out there to pick up a stereo audio cable i decided to use them to finally buy Eureka Seven: Good Night, Sleep Tight, Young Lovers Movie ob blu-ray. I havn't gotten to watch it yet but will soon. I am hoping since i got my Laptop hooked up to my TV i can finally watch Evangelion 2.2 movie. Well that's all for now. Feel free to leave comments. Saturday i went to Best Buy and finally got Batman: Arkham Asylum Game of the Year Edition and Bionic Commando for PS3 i had a coupon fo 10.00 and got Bionic Commando for free since it was only 9.99. Also went to Gamestop  and picked up a Used copy of Devil May Cry 4 for PS3 which was the Steel Case Edition and also got a new copy of Obscure: Aftermath for PSP for 9.99 and Aeon Flux The Complete Series Used for 3.99 for the PSP which was a really good deal.

Other Purchases for 8/2010

Hello all once again!!!! Earlier this week i picked up Transporter 3 and Kick-Ass on Blu-Ray and also got the DC Fandex from Sam's for 7.95. Ok Friday i went out to the mall and took of advantage of the tax free holiday we are having this weekend. I went to Spencer's and picked up the Green Lantern New Era 50/50 hat and Green Lantern Wallet, i also went to Journey's to get me the DC 75th Chuck Taylor Converse with Green Lantern on them. Then i went to FYE and picked up 2 CD's, Unsun: The End of Night and Sister Sin: True Sound of the Underground. Also went to Toys 'r' Us and got a DC Universe Green Lantern Figure, Green Lantern Plush and  a really cool looking Spider-Man Bank.
