Comic Purchases 8/31/2011

Alright let the Milestone Begin!!!! This week DC launched the 1st of the New 52 and it Sold!!!!. Next week is the make and break on titles though. But this week which was small for me I ended up picking up Flashpoint #5, Justice League #1 2 Regular Covers, 2 Copies of the Combo pack and the David Finch Variant Cover, Gore #4 and the new Previews  September 2011. This week has been really great this week, I have been trying to cut the stress out of my life and getting back to being a Geek. Went to the Comic Shop this week and picked up some great books again. I picked up Flashpoint: Abin Sur #3, Flashpoint: Legion of Doom #3, Flashpoint: The Outsider #3, Flashpoint: Wonder Woman And The Furies #3, Justice League of America #60, Batman #713, Zatanna #16, Power Girl #27, DC Retroactive 1990’s: Batman #1, DC Retroactive 1990’s: The Flash #1, DC Retroactive 1990’s: Wonder Woman #1, Green Lantern Corps #63 Reg & Variant Cover, Titans #38 and Darkwing Duck #15 Cover A & B. Geek Purchases 8/14/2011

Went out this afternoon to Sam’s Club and found the DC Comics: The Ultimate Character Guide published by DK which came out July 2011, I still want the DC Encyclopedia though but for now this cool. After that went over to Target and found a Hot Wheels Batman Arkham Asylum Batmobile. And yes I bought two of them cause I am a Geek!!! Sam’s also had the Justice League of America Season 2 on Blu-ray for 11.99 and as soon as I get paid I am going back to get it. Feel free to leave comments even though no one ever does. Laterz!!!

Purchases for 8/10/2011

Hello one and all, this week was a really good week for me so far, next week I go back to regular work hours and prob wont get a post done till Fridays. This week at the Comic Shop I picked up Booster Gold #47, Flashpoint: Frankenstein And The Creatures of The Unknown #3, Flashpoint: Deadman And The Flying Graysons #3, Flashpoint: Citize Cold #3, Flashpoint: Emperor Aquaman #1, DC Retroactive 1980’s Green Lantern #1, DC Retroactive 1980’s Superman #1, DC Retroactive 1980’s Justice League of America #1 and Batman 80-Page Giant 2011 #1. Not a bad haul on comics though, but I still have a lot on hold for me though. Now for the final thing I bought and it was a Doctor Who Billie Piper as Rose Tyler Life-Size Standup. Tron Legacy Purchases

Went to Target this afternoon for some drinks and ended up finding some Tron Legacy figures on clearance. I picked up 2 of the Action Packs that contain Sam Flynn + Clu, Rinzler And Quorra and  Clu’s Light Cycle + Quorra all for 1.24 each. Also got the Recognizer case that holds the Tron Legacy Die-Cast Vehicles. Not a bad buy and I plan on displaying these on a shelf somewhere when I have more room. I picked up Flashpoint: World of Flashpoint #3, Flashpoint: Deathstroke And The Curse of The Ravager #3, Retroactive The Flash 1970’s #1, Retroactive The Flash 1980’s #1, Retroactive Wonder Woman 1980’s #1, Batman: The Gates of Gotham #4, Green Arrow #14, Teen Titans #98, Detective Comics #880, Young Justice #6, Terry Moore’s Rachel Rising #1, Suicide Girls #4, Loose Ends #1, World of Archie Double Digest #9, some Doctor Who Series 1 Playing Cards and the new Previews August 2011.
