New Purchases 4/7/2010

Hello everyone!!! Yesterday i went out to the Comic Shop & Book Shop and picked up some new comics and books. AT the Comic Sho i got Batman and Robin #11, Batman and Robin #1 (What's Next Edition), Batman Confidential #43, The Flash: Secret Files and Origins 2010, JSA All-Stars #5, Tiny Titans #25, Red Robin #11, Image Firsts Edition Spawn #1, Uncanny X-Men #523, Deadpool Corps #1, Archie & Friends #142, Betty #185, Gold Digger: Peebri's Big Adventure #1, Star Wars: Purge - The Hidden Blade One-Shot, Doctor Who Classics Series 3 #2, Street Fighter II Turbo #12 (Both the Ryu & Akuma Covers that hook together), Grimm Fairy Tales #46 and Grimm Fairy Tales April Fool's Edition #2. Also while there i picked up Shonen Jump May 2010 Vol. 8, Issue 5, Doctor Who Magazine #418 and Hobby Japan march 2010. After i left there i went to the Book Shop and picked Betty & Veronic Digest #202, Stephen King Goes to the Movies Book for 2.42, The Looking Glass Wars: Seeing Red - By: Frank Beddor for 4.47, V The Original Mini-Series By: Kenneth Johnson and A.C. Crispin and V: The Second Coming By: Kenneth Johnson for 7.19 each. Not a bad week this again, i have been wanting the V books for awhile and finally broke down and bought them. New Comics & a DVD

Went back to the Comic Shop this afternoon to hang out and found some back issues i wanted, i got The Brave and the Bold Special which is according the Indicia is DC Special Series Vol.2 #8, DC Super-Stars (of Magic) #11 and Worlds Finest Comics #277. Also went back to Target to check on my raincheck for The Big Bang Theory Complete First Season for 14.99. I can't wait to watch Big Bang Theory again, i love this show. Neon Genesis Evangelion Torso Water Bottles

Looks like in Japan they are bringing out more Evangelion merchandise, this time water bottles. Torso water bottles that is, one that looks like Rei Ayanami plug suit and the other Asuka Langley Sohryu plug suit. Bottled with mineral water from Kagoshima, they'll be available in Japan starting this April for ¥368 (US$3.90). I would love to get ahold of these, i hope i can find and import them. Seems Evangelion will never die out.

New Manga Purchase 4/3/2010

Hello all, quick post before i head off to slumberland. I went to the Bookstore Saturday afternoon cause i needed to get out of the house and they had .hack//4koma in stock. .hack is one of my favorite anime and manga series. The Man-Thing (Vol.1) #12 - (Back Issue), Giant-Size Doc Savage #1 - (Back Issue), The Governator #1, The Littlest Zombie #1, Tarot Witch of the Black Rose #61 - (Both Covers), Star Wars: Legacy #46, Hack/Slash #30B, Kevin Smith's Green Hornet #2C, Legendary Tailspiners #2B, Transformers #5A, Escape from Wonderland #6B and The Waking #2 - (J Scott Campbell Cover). Also picked up Lucky Star Volume 4, the Sakura Wars ~So Long, My Love~ Game for the PS2 and Previews The Guide to Comics. Also picked up the Poster of Blackest Night #2 Cover.
