Purchases 12/29/2010
Well 2010 is 2 days from being over and this was the last day of comics for 2010/ This year i was able to get alot of back-issues i have been wanting. Next year will be great for DC Comics fans because of the price drop, even though people still gripe about it (But we all know they are Marvel Fans). Also for DC Video Game fans DC Universe Online Launches Jan 11th, i cannot wait for this i just pre=ordered mine on Amazon. There seems to be alot of cool events next year like War of the Green Lanterns from DC and Age of X from Marvel which i might end up picking up, i love the Alternate X-Men stories. As for movies we have Green Hornet, Green Lantern, Thor, Captain America and hopefully Kick-Ass 2. I am looking forward to them all and also looking forward to what DC Animation has to offer, the first DC Animated for 2011 is All-Star Superman. I am really hoping i get to go to some Cons next year also and getting to meet some of my favorite writers and artist. I still have alot of back-issues and trades to catch up on reading but i know i will catch up on those soon and i wanna start doing more blog posts also next year. Now for onto what i got today. Today i received the Green Lantern Omnibus Vol.1 i ordered fro Amazon and the Doctor Who Classics Series III #5 i ordered from Midtown Comics (Also got a Midtown Comics Bag which i am stoked about since i prob will never get to go the store). At the Comic Shop i got Gotham City Sirens #18, Batman: The Dark Knight #1, Green Lantern #61, Action Comics #896, The Flash #8 (Both Reg & Variant Cover), Green Arrow #7, Detective Comics #872, Justice Society of America #46, Teen Titans #90 (Both Reg & Variant Cover), The All-New Batman: The Brave And The Bold #2, JLA/The 99 #3, DC Comic Presents: JLA #1, Miller & McNiven's Nemesis #4, What If? #200, Astonishing Spider-Man/Wolverine #4 and True Blood #6B. Also picked up the entire run of Infinity Gauntlet #1-6 a Marvel Calender for 2011 which was a freebie and the new Previews. Alot of good stuff to read while i ring in the New Year.
