New Purchases 4/28/2010 & 4/29/2010

Hello All!! I decided yesterday to wait to do one big post today since i was going back to buy more comics today. Ok yesterday i went to the Comic Shop and picked up Green Lantern Corps #47, Green Lantern #29 What's Next Edition, Detective Comics #864, Justice League: The Rise of Arsenal #2, Justice Society of America #38, Gotham City Sirens #11, Magog #7 (Re-Order), Action Comics #889, 1st Issue Special #7, Wonder Woman #43, X-Force #26, The Amazing Spider-Man #629, Marvel Adventures Spider-Man #1, Peter Parker #1, TwiLit #1 (Yes Pot Smoking Vampires!!), Fraggle Rock #1, Tarot Withc of the Black Rose #61 1oth Year Anniversary Photo Cover Signed by Jim Balent and Holly Golightly. Ok now these i got in the mail, Boris The Bear #'s 1,2,3,4,5,6. Now back to the books i got at the Comic Shop. The rest i got Wednesday were Hack/Slash #32A, Doctor Who #10, Transformers #6A, 6B, The Last Unicorn #1 and The Waking #3B.

Now today (Thursday) i went back to the Comic Shop and picked up more books. I picked up Teen Titans #'s80,81,82, The Flash (Vol.1) #332 (Back-Issue), Justice Society of America Trade Vol.1 (Paid 4.50 for this), Husk #1, Civil War #1 Marvel's Greatest Comics Version, Invincible #1 Image First's Edition, Star Wars: Legacy #47, Kevin Smith's Green Hornet #3A, The Unknowns #2, Transformers Spotlight: Prowl Cover B, Grimm Fairy Tales #5 Second Printing and Neverland #2. Also went to Walmart and got 2 posters, a JLA Poster and a Spider-Man Poster by Greg Land and went to Book's A Million and got the new issue of Comics Buyer's Guide #1666. Some pretty awesome reads for the rainy weekend. Hope it slacks up for awhile Saturday for Free Comic Book Day. Fell free to leave comments, Sayonara!!!

Comic Purchases 4/27/2010

Went out to the Comic Shop this afternoon and picked up some comics. I picked up Firetsra #1 (Which came out last week), 1st Issue Special #'s2,4,12 & 13, All-Star Squadron #'s5,6 & 12, Birds of Prey Secret Files & Origins 2003, DC Super Stars #8, The Flash #1, 215 & 216,  The Superman Family #192 and Sunfire & Big Hero 6 #'s 1,2 &3. Random Purchases 4/25/2010

Ok today i went out to town and did some shopping and ended up doing some random purchases. I went to the Family Dollar Store and found 2 cheap Transformer Figures for $3.00 a piece, they were Optimus Prime and Soundwave. Optimus is cool looking but Shockwave not to much, he is also hard to transform to vehicle mode. Also went back to Toys 'r' Us and picked up the Cult Classic Figure of Sam from the movie Trick r Treat. I loved this lil guy from the movie and hope we may get to see him again one day. New Purchases 4/23/2010

Hello all again!! Today has been a sad and rainy day/night, with more tomorrow for what i hear. Ok today i braved the rain and storms to grab some cool Comics, Posters and Other cool stuff. 1st today i went to Walmart and was looking at posters and noticed they had this Hulk Lenticular Poster which was marked 5.44, so i had to buy it. If you move it around you can see the Hulk in a 3-Dish style. After i left their i went back to the Comic Shop and picked up some more books i had in my box. I picked up Gotham City Sirens #10, Kookaburra K #3, Hulk #1 (Marvel Greatest Comics Edition), Savage Dragon #1 (Image Firsts Edition), Savage Dragon #159,  Witchblade #1 (Image Firsts Edition), Farscape #6A, Devil #3, Domino Lady #5, X-Men: God Loves, Man Kills HC and Doctor Who Magazine #419. Later in the afternoon i went to Toys 'r' Us and looked around and picked up a Justice League of America Heroes Poster and a Batman Monster Truck which came with a Batman Logo Flag. New Purchases 4/21/2010

Hello All!!! Nice day in Louisiana today and a great day to buy comics and manga. Ok i went to the Comic Shop and Book Shop today and picked up some great new & back-issue comics, manga and a comic trade. 1st up at the Comic Shop i picked up some new comics, i got Blackest Night Director's Cut #1, Green Lantern #53, Justice League of America #44 (Both Regular & Variant), The Brave and the Bold #33, Batman: Streets of Gotham #11, Power Girl #11, The Spirit #1, Joe the Barbarian #4, The Amazing Spider-Man #628, Siege: Spider-Man #1, X-Men Legacy #235 & X-Factor #204.  I buy alot of DC Comics and just a few Marvel Comic Books, i like alot of Independent companies also. I also picked up Archie #608, Fearless Dawn #3, Transformers: Last Stand of the Wreckers #4, Tales of the TMNT #69 (Only 1 more issue left), Street Fighter Legends: Ibuki #2 (Both Covers), Yen Plus Magazine May 2010 (Heard July 2010 is the last issue, so sad) and Lucky Star Vol.5. Over at the Book Shop i picked up the Empowered Vol.1 Graphic Novel and Kingyo Useed Books Vol.1. Now for the back-issue comics i bought today, got some really cool back issues i have been looking for. I got Justice League of America Vol.1 #227, DC Comics Presents #'s 5,10,11,12,13 & 29, DC Special Series Vol.3 #17, World's Finest Comics #255 and The Saga of the Swamp Thing #4. Ok almost forgot about getting the Family Guy: Stewie's World Domination Kit i had ordered through my LCS, it vame with a Stewie Figure and Small Flip Book.. Got some great comics this week and more to add to my read pile. I really need to stop buying so much, but i can't help it. I have to back friday and pick up some more lol. New Purchase 4/17/2010

Saturday i got a package in the mail from Rightstuf.com containing my copy of Genshiken: Return of the Otaku By: Kio Shimoku & lida Kazutoshi. I have been waiting for this book to be released ever since i heard about it. I am gonna re-read the entire Genshiken series before i read this, even though i have read the manga series alot. Also went to see Kick-Ass on Friday and it was excellent!! I recommend going to see it if you a comic fan. Well that's all for now. Feel free to leave comments!! Sayonara!!

New Comics & Magazine Purchases 4/14/2010

Another Week and more money spent. I went to the Comic Shop today and picked up some new comics, i got some really good books. I picked up Brightest Day #0 (2 Copies), The Flash 31, Batman #698, Green Arrow #32, Batgirl #9, Doc Savage #1, Action Comics #888, Adventure Comics #10, Free Realms #8, Forgetless #4, Dead@17: The Witch Queen #2, Fall Out Toy Works #4, Lock Jaw and The Pet Avengers: Unleashed #2, New Mutants #12, Spider-Man: Origin of the Hunter One-Shot, Spider-Man: Grim Hunt- The Kraven Saga which was a free pomo comic, The Mazing Spider-Man Presents: Jackpot #3, Web of Spider-Man #7, Farscape: Scorpius #0, Star Wars: Dark Times #16 and Hack/Slash #31. Also went to the book shop and picked up Otaku USA June 2010 issue. Brightest Day #0 was an excellent read, so was Flash #1. Geoff Johns is one of the top writers in my book these days, the Second Coming Story line going on in the X-Titles has been really good too. I am also counting down the months to Batman #700 and the Gauntlet Storyline in Spidey is really gearing up the the whole Return of Kraven The Hunter Storyline. I also got the Flash Promo Ring which came free when you purchsed Flash #1. I also got the Flash and Brightest Day Promo Posters, i am gonna have to fine a huge frame for the Brightest Day poster. Comic & Trade 4/10/2010

Saturday i went back to the Comic Shop to grab 2 short boxes and ended up picking up the Final Crisis: Revelations Hardcover Trader for 6.00. The shop had some Trades that was traded in Firday. Also while there i picked up Shonen Jump May 2010 Vol. 8, Issue 5, Doctor Who Magazine #418 and Hobby Japan march 2010. After i left there i went to the Book Shop and picked Betty & Veronic Digest #202, Stephen King Goes to the Movies Book for 2.42, The Looking Glass Wars: Seeing Red - By: Frank Beddor for 4.47, V The Original Mini-Series By: Kenneth Johnson and A.C. Crispin and V: The Second Coming By: Kenneth Johnson for 7.19 each. Not a bad week this again, i have been wanting the V books for awhile and finally broke down and bought them. New Comics & a DVD

Went back to the Comic Shop this afternoon to hang out and found some back issues i wanted, i got The Brave and the Bold Special which is according the Indicia is DC Special Series Vol.2 #8, DC Super-Stars (of Magic) #11 and Worlds Finest Comics #277. Also went back to Target to check on my raincheck for The Big Bang Theory Complete First Season for 14.99. I can't wait to watch Big Bang Theory again, i love this show. Neon Genesis Evangelion Torso Water Bottles

Looks like in Japan they are bringing out more Evangelion merchandise, this time water bottles. Torso water bottles that is, one that looks like Rei Ayanami plug suit and the other Asuka Langley Sohryu plug suit. Bottled with mineral water from Kagoshima, they'll be available in Japan starting this April for ¥368 (US$3.90). I would love to get ahold of these, i hope i can find and import them. Seems Evangelion will never die out.

New Manga Purchase 4/3/2010

Hello all, quick post before i head off to slumberland. I went to the Bookstore Saturday afternoon cause i needed to get out of the house and they had .hack//4koma in stock. .hack is one of my favorite anime and manga series.
