Purchases 5/23 through 5/27/2011

Got of a lot of stuff this week and since the Summer is here and I have a shorter work day maybe I can finally catch up on it all. Sometime last week I can’t remember when I got in some comics I ordered from a seller on Comic Collector Live. Tuesday I went by the Comic Shop and hung around for awhile and ended picking up Mythology: The DC Comics Art of Alex Ross for 5.50, that was an incredible deal and a awesome book.

Wednesday and Thursday were the big day for books. My Last purchases were Bakuman Vol.4, Girls of Gaming Vol.8, Writing Basics Magazine, Writer’s Digest May/June 2011 and 2600 Spring 2011. Also finally got in my Archie Skybox Cards from 1992.

Comics Purchases 5/18/2011

Wednesday is here again and I am actually blogging my purchases!!! Didn’t get to pick up everything this week cause my funds are low and payday isn’t till next week (After next Comic Day ughh!!!). Purchases for 5/16/2011

Monday afternoon I went out to a few places and picked some cool and interesting items. I got my Logitech C910 Webcam Pro HD 1080p Webcam in and man I love it, does great in low light situations. Also got it for a great price on Amazon Deal of a Day for 59.99 last week. I also went by the grocery store and found some cool Super-Hero related items which were Toppers of Superman and Batman. After that I went to Target and picked up a the new The Lonely Island CD, a PC game on clearance called Return to Mysterious Island and a Green Lantern Movie Figure of Hal Jordan. They didn’t have much a Green Lantern Section but seems they still had stuff to stock. Also picked up 2 Tins of World of Warcraft Cards, I don’t care about the cards but the tins kicked ass. New Comics & Back-Issues 5/13/2011

Hello all!!! Friday night was the Series Finale of Smallville, I watched it today (Saturday) of course. I was blown away and loved it, now I have to be the entire DVD Box Set they advertised. Ok Friday I picked up a few new comics and some back-issues. The new comics I got were Time Lincoln: Jack to the Future (This series is awesome and Fred Perry is awesome), Women of Gold Digger: Spring Break 2011 and Zombie Fairy Tales. The back-issues I got were WOnder Woman Annual # 5 – Legends of the Dead Earth, Azrael Annual #3 – Pulp Heroes, Catwoman Annual #4 – Pulp Heroes, the 4-part Superman Story called Critical Condition which were Superman (Vol.2) #158, The Adventures of Superman #580, Superman: The Man of Steel #102 and Action Comics #767. Also picked up Marvel Team-Up (Vol.1) #100, Millie the Model #114, Archie #137 and Everything’s Archie #10. Some really cool new comics and some cool and old comics. I look forward reading the old Archie’s. Well the next week I have to watch how I spend since I don’t get paid for another 2 weeks ugh!!! Well that is it for now, see you all next time. Over the weekend was Free Comic Book Day 2011 and what a turn out, there were a lot of people during the 1st few hours and hopefully some new business.
